Ms. Leek has been dancing with Deschutes County Ballroom Dance Club since Redmond- over 4 years! She has competed in several nationally recognized dance competitions as well as performed in several showcase routines with DCDC, including both solo and group numbers. Sue feels the best thing about dancing is that it gives her the satisfaction of taking what she has been taught to the performance level!
Her favorite rhythm dances are the Mambo and West Coast Swing, and favorite smooth dances are the Tango and Viennese Waltz.
Sue says, "Getting to fulfill a lifelong dream of learning all of the ballroom dances, and having the time to master them is one of the reasons I love to dance. Starting later in life on my quest makes it all the more rewarding!"
