Ms. Barnett has been dancing with Deschutes County Ballroom Dance Club for nearly 4 years! She has competed in nationally recognized competitions as well as performed in several showcases with DCBDC. Peggy feels the best thing about performing is the challenge of accomplishment and the excitement before, during, and after a performance- "It's a RUSH!"

When asked about her favorite rhythm and smooth dances, she chose the West Coast Swing and Samba for rhythm, and the Tango for smooth- as she finds this dance to be both challenging and exciting.

Peggy says, "I've finally found my unknown passion! I'm like a sponge that can necer be saturated. Dancing is great fun and a perfect way to exercise body and mind. The pleasure it gives carries over daily and affects your whole demeanor! Way too much fun!"
