Ms. Lunsford has been dancing with DCBDC since 1 month after their grand opening in 2001- over 6 years! Jo was the first student with Deschutes County Ballroom Dance Club to reach her silver level of dancing in both social and competitve abilities. She has competed in several nationally recognized dance competitions and performed in numerous showcases with DCBDC, including both solo and group numbers. Jo feels the best thing about performing is learning the new steps!
Her favorite rhythm dances are the Rumba and Cha Cha and her favorite smooth dances are the Foxtrot and Argentine Tango.
Jo says, "I like to dance because I feel I was born to dance! Dancing to me means life and energy. Moving to music is stimulating and joyful!"
